In 1997, Maurizio and Edgardo Andreoli founded Esiet together with a number of other partners. The company initially concentrated on the design and development of technological installations and structured cabling for industrial and civil buildings.
Aware of the need to combine clients’ requirements with innovation, Esiet then went on to expand its offering progressively over the years, providing “Prime Contractor” services and specialising in the development of hi-tech environments and sites, such as trading rooms, data centres and photovoltaic installations
In 1998, Maurizio and Edgardo Andreoli founded Medan, an IT services and consultancy company that made a name for itself on the market thanks to its outsourcing services.
In 2009, Esiet and Medan became limited companies and were rebranded to convey their complementary nature.
In July 2012, Esiet and Medan merged to form a single company, with the merger being formalised on 30 November. This led to the creation of a company that is in a position to design and develop complex solutions combining a range of products, technologies, infrastructures and services, and which puts itself forward as a single point of contact with the wherewithal to meet multiple requirements.
